Privacy notice.

Short version: we use what you send us to do the job you asked for, and for nothing else.

Who we are

HRD, Homes & Rentals Direct, is a trading name of HRD Lettings Ltd (company number 15708418), registered in England and Wales at 27 Crooks Barn Lane, Stockton-on-Tees TS20 1LR. We are the data controller for anything you send through this website. Questions: office@homesrentalsdirect.com or 0330 229 6999.

What we collect, and why

If you book accommodation: your name, company, phone, email, and the job details (site, dates, headcount, parking). We use them to find and book the property and to invoice you. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, then performing it.

If you list a property: your name, contact details and the property details. We use them to decide whether your place fits our clients and to book it when it does. Nothing is published anywhere.

If you apply for a job: your name, contact details, CV and answers. We use them to assess your application. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before a contract.

Who sees it

Hosts receive only what they need to receive a crew: guest names and dates. Our email and systems run on Microsoft 365, Monday.com and our web hosting, all of which process data for us under contract. We do not sell data and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

How long we keep it

Booking and host records: for as long as we work together, plus six years for tax and accounting. Enquiries that go nowhere: 24 months. Job applications: 12 months, unless you ask us to keep you in mind for longer.

Cookies

The site sets no tracking cookies of its own. Forms remember what you typed on your own device only (local storage), so you can finish later. If we ever switch on visitor analytics, it will be the cookie-light kind and this notice will say so.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email office@homesrentalsdirect.com and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
