Contractor accommodation, done properly.

Whole houses for working crews, close to site, anywhere in the UK. We find it, we book it, we deal with the host, and you get one invoice. On average it costs 16% less than booking the same property directly.

What contractor accommodation means with HRD

Not a row of hotel rooms and not a room each in a shared house. A whole property for the crew: proper beds, a kitchen, a washing machine, somewhere to park the vans, and everyone under one roof close to the site.

You tell us where the job is, when it starts, how many are coming and roughly how long for. We come back the same day with options that fit, you pick one, and we handle the booking, the host and the billing from there.

Who books with us

Flooring and coatings companies, civils and groundworks, fit-out crews, utilities and cabling contractors, engineering firms, archaeology units, fire protection teams. Any company whose people work away, week in, week out.

What's included

Close to site

We source by travel time to the job, not by town name. Outside London that usually means 20 to 35 minutes door to door. In London we work in miles.

Parking for the vans

Off-street or driveway parking is part of the brief, not an afterthought. Tell us how many vehicles and we find somewhere they actually fit.

A real kitchen and laundry

The crew can cook, wash their kit and get a proper night's sleep. That's the difference between a house and a hotel corridor over a three-week job.

One VAT invoice

One invoice from HRD Lettings Ltd per booking, or one consolidated invoice if you'd rather batch them. VAT reclaimable in the normal way. No card behind the bar.

Straight answers

How quickly can you house a crew?
Options usually come back the same working day, often within a couple of hours. When a job can't wait, we have placed crews the same evening the call came in.
Do we need to pay deposits?
No. Where a host requires one, HRD puts it down on your behalf. If a host charges us for damage, we pass that cost on to you at cost, with the evidence.
What if the job overruns or the crew changes?
Extending a stay or moving people is one phone call. Cutting a stay short is ultimately the host's decision, not ours, but we ask, we push, and more often than not we find a middle ground.
Do you cover remote sites?
England, Scotland and Wales, including the remote jobs where there is barely anything on the booking sites. That's where our own host list earns its keep.
What does it cost?
Prices are quoted per stay, ex VAT, everything in. On average our clients have paid 16% less than booking the same property directly. We don't beat every price, and if we can't do better than what you're paying now, we'll tell you.
